but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 KJV
If you have ever had to wait for a friend who took longer than expected, the next line of action is to call your friend and know when, how, and where he is to know if you can wait longer. Whatever response your friend gives you will either make you wait or move on.
This situation is the same as waiting on God, those who wait on God shall renew their strength, and renewing of strength is done by calling God through reading his word and praying his words. There is no better way to wait for and on God without his words, constantly feeding on God’s word reminds us of who God is, what God has done, and what God is set to do, and like the scriptures say, we get faith by hearing the word of God.
Faith, and strength to wait are increased when we have the word of God and the word from God.
Fear and doubt will come while we wait, the best way to tackle them is to be close to God’s word.
The Word of God is the strength for waiting.
God’s word is true
God’s word is power
Stay with God’s word.
